Client: Pazaak Cantina v2.1.6

I really enjoyed Pazaak in the KoTOR games, so I looked up if you could play it online and here we are. I was pretty satisfied with the online version, but wanted to see the functions of the standalones.

Sadly enough, half the sounds almost never play and almost all the rest are too quiet.

Does anyone else have this problem and know how to fix it?

Hello,

which operating system are you using?

Maybe the files are not playable on your system due to codec issues.
Please try the following:
Download the "Other OS" version of Pazaak Cantina.
Unzip the .zip file.
Rename the .jar file to .zip and unzip it again.
Are you able to play the mp3 files in pazaakcantina/music and the wav files in pazaakcantina/sounds?

The music always worked fine in the first place, it's just the sounds that have a problem.
I played the sounds individually from the .zip and they all work.
I tried using the .jar to play and the sounds still only work a quarter of the time or are way too silent.

I'm using Windows 7 Ultimate 64 bit

I'll try it on my laptop with 8.1 and see if there's a difference

Nevermind, you already wrote 8.1^^
Are you using a 32-bit version on your laptop?
Which Java version do you use on your PC on which it doesn't work?

Fairly sure it's 64 bit as it's quite an expensive laptop.

I'm using 8.40, updated saturday and still have the problems.

When I tried to record it using different software & different methods, I noticed that the sound isn't coming from pazaakcantina at all. When I muted it in mixer, it continued to play the music & occasional sounds.

Incase it matters, I'm using a soundcard on this computer. Never had any problems with it before, however.

Can you try another soundcard, e.g. an external USB soundcard?
